Parcel Tanker Shipping Services

In re: Parcel Tanker Shipping Services Antitrust Litigation, MDL Docket No. 1568 (D. Conn)

Cohen Milstein is co-lead counsel in this case, in which Plaintiffs allege that throughout the class period, Defendants engaged in a conspiracy to fix prices of ocean freight transportation and storage of liquid bulk chemicals and other products in violation of Section One of the Sherman Act.  Specifically, Plaintiffs allege that the Defendants, companies that compete internationally in the market to provide shipping services on parcel tankers, agreed to allocate customers and routes and to fix prices to maintain the price of their services at a level higher than would prevail in a competitive market.
