Molly McOwen

Molly McOwen is an international human rights fellow at CMHT and a 2007 graduate of Columbia Law School.  Before attending law school, she received a bachelor's degree, magna cum laude, in Environmental Science and Public Policy from Harvard University.  Ms. McOwen's legal experience includes internships with the Impact Fund, where she worked on the Dukes v. Wal-Mart employment discrimination case; the Fair Housing Justice Center, where she worked on Fair Housing Act cases; the Morningside Heights Environmental Law Clinic, where she litigated environmental law cases; and the New Mexico Environmental Law Center, where she worked on environmental justice litigation involving the rights of Native Americans and members of low-income communities.  Ms. McOwen also served as a Researcher for the United Nations Environment Programme, developing an international study of sustainability in higher education.
 
Ms. McOwen is admitted to practice in New York. Her application to the District of Columbia Bar is pending and she is currently practicing under the supervision of Agnieszka M. Fryszman, an enrolled active member of the District of Columbia Bar, pursuant to Rule 49(c)(8) of the Rules of the District of Columbia Court of Appeals.
