Anthony MatonAnthony Maton is a Partner specialising in commercial dispute resolution at the European office of Cohen, Milstein, Hausfeld & Toll LLP in London. He has extensive experience of multi-jurisdictional disputes, fraud, and regulatory investigations (DTI, SFO, FSA), and particular expertise in the financial services and energy sectors. Anthony has worked in the USA and extensively throughout Europe, the Middle East and the Gulf. He is a solicitor with over 15 years’ experience, having been a partner in McGrigors and an associate at Slaughter & May. He is a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (having arbitrated under many rules including the LCIA, ICC and LME), an accredited Mediator and Honorary Secretary of the London Solicitors Litigation Association. He has a first class Honours Degree in Modern History from the University of Oxford and is a contributor to the soon to be published Tolleys Guide to Legal Risk Management. He has a particular interest in the use of IT in civil litigation and the courts, and has spoken at and taken part in a number of initiatives, groups and seminars on these issues.
